#PassTheApron is a social campaign inspired by the simple, powerful connection found in the kitchen—where shared moments can become shared purpose. Launched February 17, 2026, at The New American Home® 2026 in partnership with Alair Homes Orlando and LG SKS, the campaign encourages participants to share how cooking creates connection in their lives and pass the apron forward.
Together, these shared moments form a living chain—one that shows how everyday experiences can foster communication, care, and a sense of belonging.
As #PasstheApron grows, opportunities will emerge for shared cooking, dining, and community engagement. Check back here for updates. Follow the steps below to create your own #passtheapron video to get involved today.
Start by covering the camera with the apron. Reveal yourself and share a short cooking moment.
Toss the apron toward the camera and nominate someone to continue the chain.
Share on Instagram or TikTok Use #PassTheApron and tag: @jonathanslanding, @alairhomes, and @sksappliance.

Meals With Jonathan reflects a tradition that started at home. Jason regularly invites people into his kitchen to cook with Jonathan. These are not formal events. They are moments of shared experience where conversation flows naturally, skills are practiced in real time, and relationships form without pressure. Cooking together builds confidence, encourages independence, and creates space for authentic connection. These meals reflect the heart of the initiative. Simple moments, intentionally shared.
Food also creates connections beyond the home. Jonathan and Jason will visit local restaurants, meet chefs, connect with community members, and gather around tables throughout the region. These shared meals support exposure to new environments, social engagement, and conversations that bring people together across differences. Restaurants become learning spaces. Tables become places where community forms. These experiences align closely with Jonathan’s Landing Foundation’s broader model, in which connection emerges through real-world engagement rooted in everyday life.
Meals With Jonathan is not about hosting dinners. It is about creating environments where connection can grow. When food becomes the focus, pressure fades and participation increases. Connection follows naturally.
